Who we are

Since our founding in 1966, Johnsons wrecker service has been a trusted part of the community. Ray Johnson started the business over 55 years ago when he saw a growing need for a capable and reliable wrecker service in the area. Through his hard work and dedication, Ray built a reputation for reliability, affordability, excellent service and above all honesty; which laid the foundation for what the company is today.

Today the company is owned and operated by two of Rays sons, Derek and Michael (pictured). These men began working under they’re father at a young age and took over the company in 1992. Through the years their experience and dedication has allowed them to grow the company to new heights by more than doubling their fleet, adding on to their crew, adding a new location in ecru and even upgrading to a newer and bigger facility in Pontotoc back in 2013. This growth has allowed Johnsons to better serve the community by providing more available trucks to a wider service area and allowing for quicker response times. None of this would have been possible without the continuous support and loyalty of the community throughout all of these years and for that we would like to say thank you, Johnsons appreciates each and every customer and we look forward to serving you.
